ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College men's soccer team hosted Rochester University on Saturday night. After a delay in start time due to weather, the Bulldogs struggled against the visiting Warriors and fell 6-0.
Rochester began the scoring early with three first half goals. The Warriors scored in the 16th, 18th, and 36th minute to lead 3-0 at halftime. Rochester kept its foot on the gas in the second half scoring in the 47th, 58th, and 78th minute to lock in a 6-0 win over Adrian.
The Bulldogs recorded three shots in the first half with two on goal and five shots in the second half with one on goal. The Bulldogs had opportunities on three corner kicks, but couldn't find the back of the net and remained scoreless.
Aidan Leline finished the day with three shots on the night while landing a pair on goal.
Mason Vanisacker came off the bench to record a shot on goal for the Bulldogs.
Dominic Edwards played in his second match of the season in goal for Adrian and recorded five saves.
The Bulldogs will have Sunday off before they travel to Indiana Wesleyan on Monday, September 12 for a 5:00 PM match on the road.
