ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College men's tennis team hosted Anderson University on Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs battled in a close match and came away with a 5-4 victory. 

The Bulldogs went on to win two out of three doubles matches. Brandon Falk and Sebastian Smith won 8-0 at No. 1 Doubles to begin the day. Ryan Cuddy and Whitman Hopper fell at No. 2 Doubles by a score of 8-6. Sean Ruhf and Joey Quigley took home the victory at No. 3 Doubles by a score of 8-3 to lead 2-1.

Adrian split with Anderson in Singles during the day. Falk swept his match with set scores of 6-2 and 6-1. Smith won 7-6 and 6-0 at No. 3 Singles while Zachary Perry won 6-1 and 6-1 at No. 6 Singles. Ryan Cuddy battled in a three-set match at No. 2 Singles but was unable to win the match. Luke Holowinski and Hopper competed in singles but struggled and lost their matches 2-0.

The Bulldogs will turn things around quickly as they host Olivet College on Sunday, September 18 at 1:00 PM at the Craft Tennis Complex.
