ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College men's soccer team hosted Spring Arbor University on Tuesday night at Docking Stadium. Things didn't go as planned for the Bulldogs as they fell 3-0 to the visiting Cougars.
The first half went scoreless for both teams with multiple chances each way. Adrian totaled four shots in the first half and landed two on goal while Spring Arbor collected 11 shots with four on goal.
Spring Arbor got on the board in the 65
th minute to take a 1-0 lead. The Cougars extended their lead in the 81
st minute to lead 2-0 before making it a 3-0 game in the 83
rd minute.
The Bulldogs struggled to find chances in the second half as no shots were totaled. Spring Arbor collected 16 shots in the second half with eight on goal.
Justin Sarka finished the day with a pair of shots landing one on goal while
Juan Tapia landed a shot on goal.
Jackson Vacca played all 90 minutes in goal finishing with eight saves.
The Bulldogs return to the field tomorrow night as they take on the University of Saint Francis from Indiana at 7:00 PM.
