ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College women's basketball team fell to Calvin University 73-48 Saturday afternoon at the Merillat Sport and Fitness Center. Kylie Skidmore had a team high 21 points in the Bulldogs loss this afternoon.
The Bulldogs battled in the first half and found themselves only down six points at intermission. Sophomore Kylie Skidmore recorded a career high of 21 points during the afternoon. Skidmore was the only Bulldog to score in double figures and concluded the contest shooting a scorching 7-9 from the field and 7-11 from the free throw line.
Calvin was able to pull away in the second half after out-scoring Adrian College 36-17 in the last two quarters of play. As a team, the Bulldogs recorded 22 points in the paint, and scored 15 points off the bench.

After shooting 3-6 from behind the arch, sophomore Jordan Phillips sits only one three pointer away from cracking into the top-ten all-time career three point percentage list (minimum 60 threes made). Currently, Karen Baird (1989-93) holds the tenth spot in all-time career three point percentage for the Bulldogs at 32.2% (110 threes made). After today, Phillips currently has made 59 three pointers over the course of her career while shooting 36.6% from distance.
