ADA, Ohio – The Adrian College track team had another stellar performance Friday evening at the Larry Cole Invitational at Ohio Northern University. The men's team placed second and the women's team placed third this evening.
In the women's 400 meters,
Rylea Mougrabi ran a 1:04.58 surpassing the previous Larry Cole Meet record which was 1:05.13. However, Mougrabi would finish second in the 400 meter .52 seconds behind the first place finisher.
In the men's 4 X 400M relay, Grant Clemens, Elijah Dealca, Josh Trudell, and Weston Kvalevog took first place with a time of 3:31.30. The group was less than a second away from tying the Larry Cole Meet record of 3:30.44.
In the women's high jump, junior Cailey Beaudoin placed second in the finals with a mark of 1.60m. This is the second consecutive meet that Beaudion would place second in the high jump.
As for the men, freshman Theo Shepard and senior Weston Kvalevog took first in the high jump with 1.95m each.
Senior Caleb Ellis placed fifth in the men's 200 meter final with a time of 23.57.
In the women's 200 meter final, Bulldogs Amanda Matthews, Isabelle Salazar, and Zyna Vea took places third through fifth. Matthews finished in third with a time of 28.65, just .02 away from second place.
