EMMITSBURG, Maryland. -- The Adrian College Women's Rugby team shutout Norwich University on Saturday, 46-0 to earn their first win of the season.

In the first half, the Bulldogs went up 24-0 on two tries from Paige Longcore and one from Pendo Miregi, who was also three for three on conversions and converted on a penalty kick.

The second half was all Bulldogs again as Longcore scored two more tries while Jenesis Dotson and Madison Williamson also collected tries. Miregi went one for four on conversions in the second half.

The Bulldogs collect their first win and now sit at 1-3-2 on the season. The team's next game will be on October 21 against Bowdoin College in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
