ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College women's soccer team hosted Albion College on Wednesday night at Docking Stadium. The Bulldogs and the Britons went on to tie the match, 0-0. Adrian hosted a "Pink Out" in honor of October's Breast Cancer Awareness. The team sold t-shirts leading up to the match with all proceeds benefiting breast cancer research.
The first half went scoreless between the Bulldogs and the Britons. Adrian totaled seven shots in the first half with five landing on goal while Albion collected six shots with one on goal. The Britons totaled three corner kicks in the first half while the Bulldogs had one.
The Bulldogs went on to finish the game with 13 total shots with eight on goal while Albion finished with nine shots and four on goal.
Kaitlyn Dake and
Ellise Fries led the team with two shots on goal apiece while
Leah Homan,
Teagan Bergeron,
Victoria Pilon, and
Alanna Earl each recorded a shot on goal.
Gabrielle Fallon Revels finished the night with four saves in goal.
Adrian moves to 7-4-3 (3-2-1 MIAA) on the season and will resume action on the road at Kalamazoo College on Saturday, October 21 at 5:00 PM.
