CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Adrian College men's and women's rowing teams competed at the annual Head of the Charles near Boston over the weekend. The Head of the Charles is one of the largest rowing events in the country attracting roughly 11,000 athletes are tens of thousands of spectators.
The Men's Collegiate 8+ and the Women's Collegiate 4+ competed on Sunday morning. The men's team finished 35
th out of 42 teams with a time of 16:50.405 while the women's team finished 26
th out of 38 teams with a time of 21:38.577.
The Bulldogs battled a 14mph headwind with roughly 25mph wind gusts.
The men's team has completed its fall season and will resume action in the spring. The women's team will compete on Saturday, October 28 when they travel to Eastern Michigan University for their final event of the fall.
