HOLLAND, Mich. – The Adrian College Cross Country teams competed in the MIAA Championship at Three Fires Golf Club Saturday morning in Holland, Michigan. The men's team finished the MIAA season with a sixth-place finish while the women's team completed their season with an eighth-place finish. The Bulldogs had a successful day personally setting 18 total personal records.
On the Women's Side:
First for the women was Senior
Emme Koutz with a time of 22:19.9. Following Koutz was
Emma Frost (25:10.8),
Sydney Wilkie (25:11.7),
Bridget Waterstradt (25:34.5), and to round out the top five was a 54
th place finish from
Ava Arnes (25:48.0). Koutz earned second team All-MIAA for her efforts.
On the Men's Side:
Will Houvener led the men's side for the Bulldogs with a 16
th place finish with a time of 25:24.0.
Caleb Billings was right behind Houvener with a time of 26:17.7, followed by
Gavin Shelton (27:33.2),
Alec Grzegorek (27:44.0), and to round out the top five for the men was
Alex Engel with a 42
nd place finish and a time of 27:47.3. Houvener earned second team All-MIAA as well for the Men.
Adrian will be back in action on Saturday, November 11
th in Norton, Ohio for the NCAA Great Lakes Regional!
