TIFFIN, Ohio – The Adrian College men's basketball team played in their second game during the Ron Linhart Memorial tournament against Bluffton University at Heidelberg University. The Bulldogs would end up losing to Bluffton 75-83, and going 0-2 overall on the weekend.
In the first half, a back and forth 20 minutes of play was the result. Adrian just could not get consecutive stops in a row and that is what kept the Beavers in the game. The Bulldogs would end the half shooting 36.36% from the field and went 3-9 from beyond the arc.
To start the second half,
Kendall Chrismon would hit a pull-up jumper to give Adrian a two-point lead right out of the gate. The Beavers stay poised and did not look back after that controlling the tempo the rest of the way. The Bulldogs would end the night shooting 28-70 from the field and shooting 23.5% from three-point range.
Leading the way for the Bulldogs was Chrismon with 17 points and five rebounds.
Braylon Dickerson put in 12 points and added four rebounds and two assists.
Josh Jordan would also add 12 points and five boards.
Nick Seifert led the team with six rebounds.
Adrian will travel to Ohio Northern University on Wednesday, November 15 for their matchup with the Polar Bears!
