ADA, Ohio – The Adrian College men's basketball team went on the road for a non-conference contest against Ohio Northern University or Wednesday night. The Bulldogs would be taken down by the Polar Bears, 59-82.
In the first half of play, Adrian struggled early on the high tempo ball movement from Ohio Northern. Adrian would settle in down the stretch and end the half only down five, 31-36. Adrian would shoot 50% from the floor and 46.7% from three, but would allow 10 offensive rebounds. The Polar Bears shot 37.5% from the field and 29.4% from three.
To start the second half, Ohio Northern would score first off of a three-point basket. The Polar Bears would keep the pressure on and extend their lead to 16 with seven minutes to play. Adrian could never get their feet underneath them and ended up losing, 59-82. Adrian shot 40.4% overall from the floor and Ohio Northern ended up shooting 46.4%. Adrian got out rebounded by 21 throughout the game.
Leading Adrian was
DJ Morrow who led in scoring with 12 points.
Kendall Chrismon would add in 10 and
Nick Seifert and
Braylon Dickerson would each contribute eight points.
Josh Jordan ended the night with nine rebounds and Seifert would assist on five baskets.
The Bulldogs will be on the road once again on Saturday, November 18 to play Capital University at 2:00 PM!
