SAGINAW, Mich. – The Adrian College men's basketball team traveled to Saginaw Valley State University on Tuesday evening. The Cardinals would beat the Bulldogs by a score of, 91-38.
In the first half of play Adrian struggled shooting from beyond the arc. They would go 0-8 from that distance as well as shoot 32% from the floor. Saginaw Valley would extend their first half lead on a fast break dunk to end the half putting them up, 43-20.
In the second half the Bulldogs would try and find a way to fight back, but was just not able to. Adrian would give up 48 points in the second half of play and only score 18 of their own. Adrian would shoot 33.3% from the floor throughout the 40 minutes while SVSU shot 55.7% from the field and 42.9% from the three-point line. Adrian had a total of four assists compared to the Cardinals 25 assists.
Adrian was led by
Nick Seifert in points, rebounds, and assists on the night. Seifert would total 12 points, five rebounds, and add two assists.
Braylon Dickerson and
DJ Morrow would tally seven points apiece.
The Bulldogs will take on Case Western Reserve University at home on Saturday, December 9 at 3:00 PM.
