ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College men's basketball team was at home on Saturday afternoon where they hosted No. 8 Case Western Reserve University. The Bulldogs held with the No. 8 Spartans for the majority of the game, but a late second half run by Case Western put them ahead of the Bulldogs, 83-65.
Case Western led 40-31 at the half. The Bulldogs shot 44.8% finishing 13-for-29.
Nick Seifert led the team with eight points in the first half followed by
Josh Jordan and
Braylon Dickerson with six apiece. Case Western finished the first half with a 46.7% shooting percentage. Adrian and Case Western traded 8-0 runs in the first half.
Case Western led by as many as 17 points with 15 minutes to play in the second half. The Bulldogs battled back and cut the Spartan lead to six points with just under five minutes to play. Case Western went on to reclaim the momentum and finished the half on a 14-2 run.
Dickerson finished the game with a team-high 15 points followed by 12 from Jordan and 11 from Seifert and
Kendall Chrismon. Chrismon led the team with six rebounds followed by five from
Michael Rightnowar.
Adrian's next game will be at home on Monday, December 18 when they host Hiram College at 7:00 PM.
