ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College men's basketball team hosted Oberlin College for their season opener at home on Wednesday night. The Bulldogs got shut down offensively and took the loss, 67-60.
 
Adrian trailed Oberlin by 7, 23-30 at the end of the first half. The Bulldogs shot 33.3% from the field in the first half as well as 33.3% from three. Oberlin shot 44.4% from the field and went 3-10 from three-point range in the first half. In the second half Oberlin led by as many as 23 points which Adrian later cut down to a five-point game. The Bulldogs would fall short at the end losing, 67-60.
 
Nick Seifert led Adrian with 18 points on the night followed by Braylon Dickerson with eight. The Bulldogs shot 36.2 % from the field and 33.3% from beyond the arc. Adrian struggled at the line where they shot 61.1%. Seifert and DJ Morrow each had two assists for Adrian. Darrius Welch was the leading rebounder for the Bulldogs with five followed by Seifert with four.
 
Adrian will travel to Heidelberg University for the Ron Linhart Memorial Tournament where they will play Penn State Altoona on Friday, November 10 at 6:00 PM.
