BLUFFTON, Ohio – The Adrian College women's basketball team went on the road against Bluffton University to start their season and brought back a win, 63-48.
Bluffton took control of the first quarter leading, 12-10. The Bulldogs would hold Bluffton to seven total points in the second quarter retaking the lead to go into the half, 27-19. Adrian scored 22 points in the third to push their lead to 15 and ended up keeping that lead until the end of the game where they won, 63-48.
Kylie Skidmore ended the night with a double-double scoring 22 points on 75% shooting and controlling 11 rebounds as well as dishing out five assists.
Kiaya Warner added 14 points and
Ashlyn Weatherly contributed 12. Jullia Tierman totaled four assists of her own and
Bailey Taylor grabbed four rebounds on the night. Adrian shot 45.8% from the field and 28.6% from the three-point line.
The Bulldogs will travel to Nazareth University on Saturday, November 11 at 5:30 PM for their next game.
