ADRIAN, Mich. -- The No. 3 Adrian College Women's ACHA Division 1 hockey team hosted Penn State University at the Arrington Ice Arena over the weekend for a CCWHA conference match-up. The Bulldogs collected two shutouts wins over the Nittany Lions, winning 6-0 and 5-0.

Amelia Smolinski (first ACHA goal),
Keira Eagleson, and
Allison Shaw.
Tess McKerrow collected two assists and goaltender
Jordan Hunt stopped all nine shots she faced for the shutout, her fourth of the season.
In game two, the Bulldogs continued their dominance, outshooting the Nittany Lions 67-6 and received goals from
Ashlynn Stitt,
Taylor Robinson,
Macy Piche, and two from
Tyla Turnbull. Freshman goaltender
Maddie Stockwell collected the shutout for her first ACHA win in goal.
The WD1 Bulldogs will close out their first semester schedule later this week when they take on No. 9 Indiana Tech in a home and home series on December 7-8. Puck drops at 7:30 PM on Thursday night at the Arrington Ice Arena, followed by a 7:00 PM puck drop in Fort Wayne on Friday night.
