Orlando, Fla.-- The Adrian College men's tennis team dropped their first match of the year 2-7, while the women's team fell 4-5 against Moravian University Sunday afternoon. Despite the losses, individual members of the tennis program shined bright in singles and doubles play. 

On the men's side, sophomore Brandon Falk and freshman Luke Holowinski picked up the two victories for the Bulldogs during singles play. With his 12-7 victory over Shayaan Farhad, Falk has now won three out of his past four singles matchups. For Holowinski, he would defeat Kieran Pisani 12-4 to improve his career record to 2-2. 

On the women's team, freshman Claire Earley and senior Elizabeth Himebauch picked up a doubles victory, after defeating their opponents 8-2.  Additionally, sophomore Liv Depies and junior Maddison Wagner would also receive a victory in doubles play today: The duo would win in dominant fashion Sunday afternoon with an 8-3 victory. In singles play, Himebauch and Earley took two efficient sets en route to their wins Sunday.

Both the men's and women's teams will be back in action tomorrow, against Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and Warner University.
