ANGOLA, IN.-- The Adrian College track team saw a variety of top five finishes Saturday at the Mrs.G Invitational, hosted by Trine University. Tonight, the men took seventh place, while the women took eighth at the invite.
After placing third in last week's meet at Tiffin University, Cameron Overmyer placed first in the men's pole vault event after securing a mark of 4.50 meters, earning 10 points for the Bulldogs.
In the women's 400 meter event Olivia Dunscombe placed fifth, while Abigail Raftis placed 6th. Dunscombe ran a time of 1:05.22 while her teammate Raftis finished with a 1:06.07.
In the high jump event, junior Cailey Beaudoin placed first with a mark of 1.55m. In the women's weight throw, Bryanna Carey placed ninth after finishing with a mark of 12.22m.
Lastly, during the men's 4 x 400m relay, Bulldogs Grant Clemens, Josh Trudell, Elijah Dealca, and Weston Kvalevog placed sixth after completing the 4 x 400m with a time of 3:36.68.
