MARION, Ind. – On Saturday, March 29, the Adrian College track and field team competed at the Indiana Wesleyan Polar Bear Invitational. Many Bulldogs recorded top 10 placings including Weston Kvalevog, who placed sixth in the men's 400 meter event.
Women's 1500 meter junior Emme Koutz placed 16th with a time of 5:16.94. Koutz would also place third in the women's 800 meter event with a time of 2:30.14
Women's 400 meter freshman Emme Koutz placed 12th with a time of 1:06.82.
Freshman Olivia Dunscombe would follow in 13th with a time of 1:07.02.
In the men's 400 meter, the senior Kvalevog placed sixth after recording a time of 53.74. Freshman Zach Skinner placed ninth after recording a time of 53.85
In the women's 100 meter freshman Isabelle Salazar placed 12th after recording a time of 14.45. Freshman Emily Peterson would place 14th with a time of 14.79.
During the men's 100 meter event, senior Caleb Ellis placed seventh with a time of 11.73.
Skinner and Kvalevog placed seventh and eighth in the 200 meter event. Skinner recorded a time of 25.60 and Kvalevog saw a time of 25.62.
In the men's 110 meter hurdles, senior Joshua Light placed fifth with a time of 17.28.
Up Next: The track team will travel to Upland, IN. to compete in the George Glass Invitational hosted by Taylor University.
