ALBION, Mich. – The Adrian College men's lacrosse team traveled to Albion College on Friday afternoon to another tough MIAA contest. The Bulldogs struggled during the road battle with the Britons. Adrian went on to lose the contest 26-9 to earn their second conference loss of the season.
Adrian struggled to start the game trailing 8-2 after the first quarter.
Brandon Hoerauf and
Austin Selvage scored first quarter goals for the Bulldogs. In the second period, Albion extended its lead to 19-5 at halftime.
Alec Winegar, Selvage, and
Jake Coakley scored for Adrian in the second quarter.
The Bulldogs added four more goals in the second half with goals coming from Coakley, Winegar,
Derek Hassel, and
Riley Edwards.
Cameron Reed led the team on defense with five caused turnovers and seven ground balls.
Trent Tidswell added four ground balls and three caused turnovers.
Sam Spangler,
Ethan Krupp, and
Mason Obeldobel combined for 18 saves in goal on the afternoon.
Adrian will return home for the final regular season game of the year when they host Trine University on Wednesday, April 26 at 7:00 PM.
