ADA, Ohio – The Adrian College track team traveled to Ada, Ohio to compete in the 3rd Annual Mike Becraft Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The men's team took second place after scoring a total of 100 points, while the women's team placed third after recording 69 points this weekend.
On Friday, Audrey Salenbien placed fourth in the women's javelin throw after throwing a mark of 31.23 meters.
On Saturday, Weston Kvalevog took first place in the men's high jump after making a mark of 1.95 meters. In the women's high jump event, junior Cailey Beaudoin took first with a mark of 1.59 meters, while her teammate Ciara Heslet placed third with a mark of 1.56 meters.
During the men's pole vaulting event, Cameron Overmyer took first after his mark of 4.50 meters.
In the women's 4x400 meter relay, Bulldogs Rylea Mougrabi, Emme Koutz, Olivia Dunscombe, and Abigail Raftis placed second after recording a time of 4:18.55. Additionally, Koutz would place fourth in the women's 1500 meter event after posting a time of 4:58.90.
In the men's 400 meter hurdles event, Kvalevog placed second with a time of 58.70, while Joshua Trudell placed third after posting a time of 59.34.
During the men's 5000 meter, four Bulldogs placed in the top five. Starting off with first, Robert Diebold finished with an event best 15:32.83. His teammate Brett Carlisle would place second with a 15:53.53, and Bulldog Will Houvener would place third with a time of 16:04.22. Junior Andrew Etherington placed fifth with a time of 16:28.29.
For the women's 5000 meter, Bulldog Sydney Wilkie placed fourth after recording a time of 23:15.20.
