ADRIAN, MICH. – The Adrian College women's soccer team competed against Spalding University (KY) Friday night. The Bulldogs took down Spalding University (KY), 3-1.
In the first half, the Bulldogs had nine shots while Spalding only totaled two. At the 17-minute mark
Rylea Mougrabi took over as she scored one of her two goals in the first half, assisted by
Kaitlyn Dake. Again, at the 24-minute mark
Rylea Mougrabi put the ball in the back of the net. At the half, Adrian led 2-0.
Adrian kept control of the second half by scoring another goal at the 79-minute mark by
Kelsey Zoli assisted by
Teagan Bergeron from a thrown in. Later, Spalding scored a goal at the 88-minute mark making the final score, 3-1
Defensively, Adrian only allowed six shots and
Katelyn Stanton added three crucial saves.
The Bulldogs look to play again Sunday at 1:30 PM inside Docking Stadium against Mount St. Joseph University!
