GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Adrian College Men's Soccer team lost a tight battle with Cornerstone University (MI) on Saturday, 2-1.
The two teams played a 1-1 game up until the 74th minute when the Golden Eagles tallied the game-winner to secure the victory over Adrian.
Chris Czyz scored his first goal of the season for the Bulldogs, early in the second half. Adrian mustered seven shots in the game, with six of them on goal. They finished the match with only two corners.

Jackson Vacca, who has played in every game so far this season, made five saves for the Bulldogs, on seven shots faced. The Golden Eagles finished with 13 shots and six corner kicks.
The Bulldogs will be looking for their first win of the season in their next game against Cleary University on Tuesday, September 19 at 7:00 PM in Howell, Michigan.
