OLIVET, Mich. – The Adrian College women's soccer team secured their first conference win of the season against The University of Olivet on Saturday afternoon, 4-0.
In the first half, Adrian exploded for 18 shots while holding the Comets to only two.
Annamarie Fosmoen got the Bulldogs going offensively with a goal at the 29
th minute mark.
Kaitlyn Dake added a goal at the 36
th minute while
Leah Homan scored another goal with an assist from
Josie Huber not even five minutes after to make the halftime score, 3-0.
In the second half, Adrian kept the pressure on with 11 more shots.
Zoe Greenbaum added the final goal of the contest at the 56
th minute mark. Both teams were held scoreless the rest of the second half making the final score, 4-0.
Defensively,
Gabrielle Fallon Revels and
Katelyn Stanton split the game in the goal while both ended with two saves each in the win!
Adrian will host Trine University for another conference matchup on Wednesday, October 4 at 7:00 PM inside Docking Stadium.
