ANDERSON, Ind. – The Adrian College Men's Soccer team lost a tight battle with Anderson University today, dropping the contest, 2-1.
The Bulldogs and Ravens played a tight defensive game, staying scoreless until the 86
th minute when Adrian forward,
Craig Fritz, opened the scoring. Although, it wasn't long before Anderson tied it up in the 88
th minute, and then took the lead in the 89
th minute. Shots in the game were 18 to 5, in favor of the Ravens, who walked away with a gutsy win to close out the 2023 Raven/Spartan Classic.
Adrian goalkeeper,
Jackson Vacca, made six saves for the Bulldogs, while defenders,
Brady Musser and
Gary Davison, played all ninety minutes for Adrian.
The Bulldogs next game will be their home opener on Wednesday, September 13 at 7:00 PM at Docking Stadium when they take on cross-city rivals, Siena Heights University.
