ANGOLA, Ind. -- The Adrian College women's basketball team struggled on the road on Wednesday night as they traveled to Trine University. Shots didn't fall for the Bulldogs as they dropped the contest to the Thunder, 84-35.
Trine led 22-4 after the first quarter and 40-11 at halftime. Adrian came out strong in the third quarter winning the 10-minute period 22-21. Adrian went cold again in the fourth quarter eventually dropping the contest, 84-35.
Bailey Taylor led the way for Adrian with eight points and knocked down the team's only three-point shot.
Morgan Babb added seven points off the bench while
Ashlyn Weatherly and Aurbrie Ickes each added six. Trine finished the game with five scorers in double-digits.Â
The Bulldogs fall to 7-7 on the season and will look to regroup and bounce back on the road at Saint Mary's College on Saturday, January 13 at 1:00 PM.
