ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College women's basketball team hosted Alma College on Saturday afternoon for a MIAA contest. Things didn't go as planned for the Bulldogs as they fell to the Scots 86-67.
 
Kylie Skidmore led Adrian with 11 points in the first half followed by Ashlyn Weatherly with eight. The Bulldogs shot 46.7% from the floor in the first half while Alma totaled a shooting percentage of 42.9%. The Scots spaced out their scoring with three shooters in double digits in the first half.
 
Alma was lights out shooting in the second half led by a 10-of-16 performance in the third quarter. Adrian struggled in the third knocking down just five shots for 38.5%. Skidmore went on to finish the game with 23 points while Kiaya Warner added 11 and Weatherly finished with ten.
 
The Bulldogs will look to snap their losing streak on Wednesday, January 24 when they return to action on the road at Kalamazoo College at 7:00 PM.
