GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The No. 2 Adrian College Men's ACHA Division 1 hockey team took care of business this weekend, finishing the sweep over conference opponent and No. 12 ranked Calvin University. The Bulldogs bested the Knights 7-2 on Thursday at home and 3-1 on Saturday on the road.
The Bulldogs opened the series with a dominant performance at the Arrington Ice Arena, exploding for six unanswered goals after going down 2-1 after the first frame. Thanks to three power play goals and 46 shots on net, Adrian was no answer for Calvin.

Adrian and Calvin would meet again on Saturday at the Eagles Ice Center in Grand Rapids to wrap up their yearly two-game conference series match-up, where it was the Bulldogs prevailing once again, improving their all-time record against the Knights to 15-0. Wideman,

The No. 2 ranked MD1 Bulldogs will look forward to their next match-up which takes place on February 2-3 in Lynchburg, Virginia against No. 7 Liberty University. Puck drops at 7:00 PM on Friday at the LaHaye Ice Center and then at 1:00 PM on Saturday. Both games will be streamed live on ESPN+.
