ANGOLA, Ind. -- The Adrian College women's soccer team tied Trine University, 2-2, on the road on Wednesday night, moving to 2-0-1 in MIAA conference play.
The Bulldogs received goals from two defenders in the contest,
Josie Huber and
Ellise Fries. Over ninety minutes, the Bulldogs garnered seventeen shots with six of them on goal. In between the pipes,
Gabrielle Fallon Revels made two saves for Adrian, although allowing two goals to the Thunder. A back and forth match-up resulted in the team's first tie with five games remaining on their conference schedule. Huber finished with three shots on goal while
Annamarie Fosmoen continued her strong offensive season, registering five shot attempts to give her 67 on the year, good for the team lead.
Adrian Women's Soccer's next match will be this Saturday at Docking Stadium versus the Olivet Comets. Kick-off at 7:30 PM.
