GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - The Adrian College volleyball team faced a tough challenge on Friday night as they took on Calvin University in a competitive conference matchup, ultimately falling in three sets.
Sophomore Virginia Rowan stood out for the Bulldogs, delivering an impressive performance with 14 kills, while senior Amber Morris contributed 8 kills of her own. Despite their offensive efforts, the Bulldogs found it difficult to overcome the Knights, who took both the first and second sets.
On the play making front, junior Megan Reckling led Adrian with 12 assists, with sophomore Kendall Sullivan adding another 10. Defensively, senior Mya Minjares shone with 15 digs, while Morris supported the effort with 12 digs, but the Bulldogs were unable to rally in the third set.
Looking ahead, the Bulldogs will be back in action on Wednesday, October 23rd, where they will host Saint Mary's College for an exciting senior night. Come out and support the team as they honor their seniors!
