HOLLAND, Mich. – The Adrian College football team traveled to Hope College on Saturday afternoon to take on the No. 17 ranked Flying Dutchmen. The Bulldogs struggled on Saturday afternoon falling to Hope, 45-0. Adrian moves to 5-2 on the season and 2-2 in MIAA play.
The Bulldogs trailed 17-0 at halftime before a strong third quarter by Hope which extended the lead.
Noah Heide got the start at quarterback where he finished 18-of-33 with 130 yards passing.
Jalen Wallace led the team in receiving with eight receptions for 64 yards.
Trey Brueggemann finished the day with eight tackles and a forced fumble on defense.
Waides Ashmon and
Ethan Layton finished the afternoon with seven tackles each.
Adrian returns to action at home on Saturday, November 2 when they host Kalamazoo College at 1:00 PM at Docking Stadium.
