ADRIAN, MICH. - The Adrian College women's volleyball team faced off against their cross-town rival, Siena Heights University, in an intense Friday night matchup. Sophomore
Virginia Rowan shined for the Bulldogs, leading the team with 10 kills, while junior
Kayla Chan followed with 4 kills. The opening set was a thrilling back-and-forth contest, with the Saints narrowly edging Adrian 28-26.
In the second set, the Bulldogs continued to battle fiercely, but Siena Heights pulled ahead to take the set 25-21. Defensively, senior
Mya Minjares anchored the backcourt, recording an impressive 21 digs. Despite the Bulldogs' efforts, they fell in the third set, sealing a tough loss. Junior
Megan Reckling led the team's offense with 11 assists, with sophomore
Kendall Sullivan adding 6 assists.
Adrian will look to bounce back in their next match on Saturday, October 5, at 1:00 PM, when they host Alma College at home.
