ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College women's soccer team received a goal from Annamarie Fosmoen to lift them over the Hornets from Kalamazoo College, opening MIAA conference play with a road shutout victory.

Fosmoen scored late in the eighty-seventh minute to lift the Bulldogs off a pass from Emma Dalzochio. The Hornets out-shot Adrian 13-10 in the game (6-3 SOG), but Adrian goalkeeper, Gabrielle Fallon Revels, stood tall in between the pipes. Fosmoen, Sydney Anderson, and Josie Huber played all ninety minutes in the win for Adrian.

The Bulldogs will continue their conference agenda with a road game at Alma on October 8.
