ALMA, Mich. -- The Adrian College women's soccer team stayed undefeated in MIAA conference play as the Bulldogs downed Alma College, 3-1, on the road on Tuesday.
Alanna Earl scored her fourth goal of the season to open the scoring early in the first half.
Annamarie Fosmoen then added her fifth of the season on a tally from
Melanie Perhne in the thirtieth minute before
Emma Dalzochio buried her first of the season to put the Bulldogs up by three goals. Alma found twine in the eighty-sixth minute to break the goose egg, but the Bulldogs put together a strong defensive effort to secure the victory.
Gabrielle Fallon Revels made one save over seventy-one minutes in goal before
Riley Miller entered, making one save and allowing the lone goal.
Sydney Anderson was the only Bulldog player to play all ninety minutes. Fosmoen finished with four shots, two of them on goal, to lead the Bulldogs in the win.
The Adrian College women's soccer team will return home this Saturday, October 12 when they host Saint Mary's in another MIAA conference bout. The match will be a Yellow-Out theme, kicking off at 7:00 PM at Docking Stadium.
