ADRIAN, Mich. -- The No. 4 Adrian College Men's ACHA Division 1 hockey team hit the ice for two mid-week games this week, taking on the University of Michigan-Dearborn Wolverines on the road on Tuesday and the Aquinas College Saints at the Arrington Ice Arena on Thursday. The Bulldogs put together two dominant performances, not allowing a single goal to collect an 8-0 shutout over the Wolverines and a 6-0 shutout over the Saints.
After sticking at No. 4 in this week's National Rankings, the Bulldogs continued their win streak with stellar performances this week. The Bulldogs bested rival Michigan-Dearborn in a lopsided contest which saw Adrian out-shoot the Wolverines, 43-17. Goals from

Ethan McLaughlin, and two from
Blake Wideman were no answer for UM-D.
Noah Decottignies stopped 17 shots for his second win and second shutout in as many starts.
Andreas Fleutot collected three helpers in the win.
On Thursday night, the Bulldogs welcomed Aquinas to the AIA. The Bulldogs held a 4-0 all-time record over the Saints going into Thursday's game, but the two teams hadn't met since early 2022. After a rock-ish start, the Bulldogs continued their impressive play throughout the contest.
Alex Schaumburger, Gajewski, Fleutot, DeCaluwe,
Cyrus Toth, and
Matteo Turrin provided the scoring in the home win, while
Peyton Trzaska made 12 saves for his eleventh win and fourth shutout of the season in the Bulldog goal.
The MD1 Bulldogs will head into the Thanksgiving break with a 14-1-2 record and will return to the ice December 5-6 for a home-and-home series with the Toledo Rockets. The Bulldogs and Rockets will clash at the AIA on Thursday the 5th at 7:30 PM, and then in Toledo on Friday the 6th at 3:30 PM.
