ADRIAN, MICH. – The Adrian College men's basketball team battled fiercely but narrowly fell to Capital University in a thrilling contest, 63-61.
Junior
Seth Logan set the tone early, sinking a long three-pointer to kick off the game. Logan was a standout for the Bulldogs, finishing with a team-high 21 points, four rebounds, and three steals. Despite a hard-fought effort, the Bulldogs entered halftime with a slim two-point lead.
Adrian shot 10-30 from the field, 3-14 from beyond the arc, and 6-8 from the free-throw line. In the second half, sophomore
Braylon Dickerson made his presence felt, contributing 20 points, six rebounds, and three assists. Senior
Nick Seifert also had a stellar performance, dominating the glass with a season-high eight rebounds.
As the clock ticked down, Capital University edged ahead with a critical free throw to secure a two-point lead. Adrian had one final chance to tie or take the win, but the shot fell short, sealing the game in favor of the Comets, 63-61.
Adrian is back in action on Tuesday, November 26th where they will host cross-town rival Siena Heights University. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 PM.
