ADRIAN, MICH. – The Adrian College men's basketball team squared off against cross-town rival Siena Heights University in a thrilling contest that ended with the Bulldogs narrowly falling 71-66.
From the opening tip, the game was a back-and-forth battle, with neither team able to seize control in the first half. Sophomore Braylon Dickerson led the charge for the Bulldogs, delivering a performance with a team-high 16 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and a block. Thanks to his efforts, Adrian edged ahead just before halftime, heading into the locker room with a slim one-point advantage.
The Bulldogs shot efficiently in the first half, hitting 42% from the field, including three three-pointers and four free throws. Coming out of the break, Adrian briefly extended their lead, but Siena Heights quickly rallied. The Saints found their rhythm late in the second half, tying the game and setting the stage for a tense finish.
Senior Nick Seifert made a significant impact for Adrian, contributing 15 points, four rebounds, three assists, and a block. Despite the Bulldogs' best efforts, Siena Heights capitalized on their late-game momentum, pulling ahead in the final moments to secure the hard-fought victory.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday, December 4th where they will hit the road and face Wilmington College. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM
