ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College women's basketball team hosted Siena Heights University in a spirited match-up at the Merillat Sport and Fitness Center on Tuesday night ahead of Thanksgiving. The Bulldogs and Saints battled continuously back and forth, but it was the Saints who came out with a 57-50 win.
The Bulldogs trailed early in the first quarter, at one point trailing the Saints, 18-4. Although, the Bulldogs continued their fight to bring things closer throughout the night. Siena took a 29-20 lead into the half, setting up for an exciting second half and with the Bulldogs outscoring the Saints in quarter three, the fight went down to the final buzzer as a late comeback effort fell just short for the Bulldogs.

Morgan Babb, who was a threatening presence in the key all night, registering 13 points, 5 rebounds, 1 block, and 1 steal.

Anya Riley led the Bulldogs in boards, posting 7 each. Ickes and
Darby Lienerth led the way in the steals column with 2 apiece.
