ADRIAN, MICH. – The Adrian College women's volleyball team celebrated their last home game of the 2024 season with an impressive 3-1 victory over Kalamazoo.
The Bulldogs came out strong, securing the first set 25-17 with sophomore
Virginia Rowan notching 15 kills and senior
Amber Morris leading the team with a stellar 19 kills.
Building on their momentum, Adrian dominated the second set, winning decisively 25-12. Though the Hornets rallied in the third set, managing to take it 25-16, the Bulldogs regrouped and came out swinging in the fourth. They secured the set and ultimately sealed the match victory.
Junior
Megan Reckling played a pivotal role, tallying 21 assists, closely supported by sophomore
Kendall Sullivan with 20 assists. Defensively, senior
Mya Minjares led with 28 digs, while senior
Lana Cox contributed a season-high 22 digs.
Adrian will hit the road and take on Albion on Friday for the final match of the regular season. Â
