OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Adrian College NCAA men's hockey team swept its weekend non-conference road trip on Saturday as they defeated Oswego State, 4-2. The No. 2 Bulldogs move to 3-1 on the season as the RV Oswego State Lakers fall to 0-2-1.
 
Adrian opened the scoring late in the first period with a pair of quick goals. Ryan Pitoscia scored on and assist from Ian Amsbaugh before Alec Lovisek netted a goal 11 seconds later on an assist from Pitoscia. In the second period, Patrick Saini extended the lead to 3-0 which was later followed by a goal from Bradley Somers to lead 4-0. Oswego State scored late in the second period on a power play before scoring another in the third, but fell short of the comeback.
 
Amsbaugh had another multi-point game finishing with a pair of assists. Ryder Nienhuis, Jacob Suede, and Theo Thrun finished the game with an assist. Dershahn Stewart earned another win in goal on Saturday afternoon totaling 39 saves including 19 in the third period.
 
Adrian will return home as they will host Aurora University on Friday, November 15 to begin NCHA conference play. The Bulldogs will drop the puck with No. 14 Aurora at 7:00 PM followed by the series finale on Saturday at 3:00 PM.
