HIRAM, Ohio – The Adrian College women's basketball team was back in action on Saturday afternoon as they traveled to Hiram College. Adrian falls to 0-2 on the season after a 58-44 loss to Hiram on the road.
Adrian led 14-13 after the first quarter after shooting 6-of-13 for 46.2%. The Bulldogs added nine more points in the second quarter, but trailed 24-23 at the break.

Kylie Skidmore,
Aubrie Ickes and
Jenna Tierman each had four points at the end of the first half as the Bulldogs spaced out the scoring.
The Bulldogs struggled in the third quarter finishing just 2-of-15 from the field.
Kaitlyn Otto collected a three-pointer for the Bulldogs in the third while Ickes and
Hannah Lisch added a pair of points. The Bulldogs tried to spark a comeback in the fourth quarter shooting 50%, but Hiram was able to hold on and claim the victory.
The Bulldogs totaled ten different scorers with Babb, Skidmore, Lisch, and Ickes leading the way with six points each. Skidmore led the Bulldogs with six rebounds.
Adrian will regroup and be back in action on Saturday, November 16 when they open up with a four-team tournament hosted by Denison University. Adrian will tip off against the host at 4:00 PM.
