ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Adrian College NCAA women's hockey team began its series with MSOE on Friday night. The No. 4 Bulldogs took care of business defeating the Raiders 8-0 led by a hat trick from
Riley Johnson.
The Bulldogs led 2-0 after the first period with
Tia Lascelle and Johnson netting goals in the first half of the period. In the second period, Johnson scored her second of the game followed by a goal from
Jocelin Hudanish. Late in the third, Johnson netted her third goal of the game on the power play to lead 5-0.
Maya Roy,
Aileena Dopheide, and
Callie Wollschlager all netted a goal in the third period to win 8-0.
Roy and Dopheide added a pair of assists to their goal on Friday while Johnson added one to her hat trick.
Karmen Anderson finished the night with three assists while
Gia Avalone recorded two.
Kiera Stack started in goal for the Bulldogs where she finished the night with ten saves in her second shutout of the season. The Bulldogs out-shot MSOE 51-10 on the night.
 Adrian moves to 11-2-0 on the season and remains undefeated in NCHA play at 7-0-0. Adrian will wrap up the series with MSOE on Saturday afternoon at 3:00 PM.
