OBERLIN, OHIO. - The Adrian College men's basketball team battled hard in a Saturday afternoon contest at Oberlin College but came up just short, falling 88-81 in a tightly contested matchup.
The Bulldogs got off to a solid start, scoring 33 points in the first half on an efficient 14-of-26 shooting from the field. They also hit five three-pointers, though they were held to just one attempt at the free-throw line. Sophomore Braylon Dickerson led the charge for Adrian, finishing with a team-high 20 points, six assists, two rebounds, and two steals. Junior Seth Logan provided a strong offensive contribution, adding 14 points along with one assist and one steal. Senior Kendall Chrismon also had an impressive outing, scoring 18 points to go along with one rebound, one steal, and a block.
In the second half, Oberlin continued to build on their momentum and maintained their advantage throughout, ultimately securing the 88-81 victory. Despite the Bulldogs' best efforts, which included strong individual performances, the Yeomen were able to hold on for the win.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Monday, December 16th where they will host Dominican University. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 PM.
