ADRIAN, MICH. – The Adrian College men's basketball team delivered an impressive 79-71 victory over Dominican University on Monday night at the Merillat Sport and Fitness Center.
The Bulldogs came out firing, fueled by a barrage of three-pointers from junior
Seth Logan and sophomore
Braylon Dickerson, quickly establishing a commanding lead. By halftime, Adrian held an 18-point advantage, thanks to an efficient offensive performance, shooting 16-of-29 from the field, 6-of-11 from beyond the arc, and 9-of-11 from the free-throw line.
Dominican made a spirited comeback in the second half, cutting the deficit to just four points at one stage. However, Logan, who posted a season-high 25 points, remained unstoppable, shooting 8-of-11 from the field and a perfect 4-of-4 from three-point range. Dickerson was also instrumental, adding 19 points, four rebounds, and two blocks to the Bulldogs' effort.
Senior
Nick Seifert played a key role in sealing the victory, contributing 14 points, five rebounds, two assists, and a steal. Adrian maintained control down the stretch, stoping Dominican's momentum to close out the game and secure the hard-fought win.
Adrian is back in action on Wednesday, December 18
th where they will travel to Hiram College where tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
