HIRAM, OHIO.- The Adrian College men's basketball team traveled to Hiram College for a thrilling non-conference midweek showdown that had fans on the edge of their seats from start to finish. The Bulldogs faced a fierce challenge, as the entire game was a back-and-forth battle with neither team able to pull away.

Senior Nick Seifert was the standout for Adrian, delivering a stellar performance with a season-high 25 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and one steal. Despite his efforts, the Bulldogs found themselves trailing by just one point at halftime, with the score hanging in the balance.

Adrian shot 42% from the field but struggled from beyond the arc, hitting only 15% of their three-point attempts. They did, however, convert 2 of 3 free throws, keeping them within striking distance as they entered the second half.

The second half saw more of the same intensity, with both teams battling relentlessly, but unable to seize momentum. Sophomore Braylon Dickerson stepped up in a big way, adding 24 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two blocks to keep the Bulldogs competitive. Junior Seth Logan also played a pivotal role, contributing 14 points and providing crucial support down the stretch.

With just seconds remaining, the Bulldogs found themselves in a heart-stopping scenario. Leading by one, Adrian missed a crucial free throw, leaving the door open for Hiram. The Terriers quickly pushed the ball up the court, and with seven seconds left, they hit a game-winning layup to snatch the victory from the Bulldogs

Adrian is back in action on Sunday, December 29th where they will travel to Greensburg, Pennsylvania to take on Pitts-Greensburg, where tip off is scheduled for 2:00 PM
