GREENCASTLE, Ind. – The Adrian College women's basketball team returned from the holiday break and resumed action on the road at DePauw University in a two-day tournament. The Bulldogs were handed a game-one loss to DePauw, 87-57.
Adrian started the game slow trailing 23-10 after the first quarter. The Bulldogs posted a strong second quarter as they totaled 22 points after shooting 75.0% making 9-of-12 shots. DePauw continued to add to its lead in the second half opening up the third quarter with 24 points against Adrian's 11. DePauw went on to win 87-57.
Hannah Lisch led the Bulldogs with 19 points followed by 11 from
Morgan Babb. Babb also led the team in rebounds with seven. As a team, Adrian shot 21-of-46 for a 45.7% shooting percentage.
The Bulldogs will wrap up its tournament tomorrow at DePauw and face the loser of Capital and MSOE. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
