The Adrian College men's basketball team wrapped up their two-game road series on Monday afternoon against the Bearcats of Saint Vincent College, falling just short in a hard-fought battle, 68-57.
The game was tightly contested throughout, with both teams struggling to find offensive rhythm in the first half. The Bulldogs faced a five-point deficit at the break, shooting 9-of-26 from the field, 2-of-8 from three-point range, and 4-of-6 from the free-throw line. Despite the cold shooting, the defense was solid on both ends, keeping the game within reach.
In the second half, Adrian continued to play tough defense, but Saint Vincent found their stride, pulling away late with a strong run. Sophomore Braylon Dickerson was a standout for the Bulldogs, leading the team with 18 points, seven rebounds, and contributing a steal and an assist. Senior Kendall Chrismon also played well, finishing with 12 points and six rebounds.
While the Bulldogs fought valiantly, Saint Vincent's timely offense down the stretch sealed the 68-57 victory. Despite the loss, Adrian showed resilience and solid individual performances, particularly from Dickerson and Chrismon, as they look to bounce back in their next contest.
