HUDSONVILLE, Mich. – The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) announced its Athletes of the Week on Monday afternoon. Adrian College would take the offensive and defensive Athletes of the Week for women's lacrosse, as
Mariana Miller and
Lucia Commare would be the Bulldogs to earn those honors.
Miller would lead Adrian to a 22-1 win over Rochester University last week. She would tally eight goals in the game as well as recording two assists to total 10 points. Miller would also snag three ground balls and cause three turnovers in the win over Rochester.
Commare would be right alongside Miller leading Adrian to a 3-2 overall record to start the season. In the game against Rochester, Commare would score one goal, add two assists, reel in four ground balls, cause three turnovers, and win nine draw controls.
Miller is leading Adrian with 21 goals so far on the season as Commare is leading the Bulldogs in ground balls with 24 and draw controls with 28 in their five games of action.
Adrian will play Bethel University at home today, March 18 at 5PM inside Docking Stadium!
