MEADVILLE, Penn. -- The Adrian College Men's Lacrosse team took down Allegheny College on the road on Saturday in the team's final non-conference match-up of the season. The Bulldogs took down the Gators, 13-8.
Adrian received a plethora of scoring on Saturday, with multiple players contributing to the offensive production.
Derek Hassel led the way for the Bulldogs will three goals and two assists, while
Alec Winegar and
Brandon Hoerauf each contributed two goals and an assist.
Riley Edwards and
Trace Tidswell each tallied twice with
Tyler Ristau and
Austin Selvage each providing one goal.
Michael Jonas piled up five helpers and
Jake Coakley collected one in the contest, to boost the Bulldog offense.
Mark Picano was a force on the backend for Adrian, gathering six ground balls to lead his team.
Cameron Reed played a huge role in the caused turnover game with five on the night, helping power the Adrian front. Hoerauf led the Bulldogs with eight shots, while himself, Selvage, Hassel, and Tidswell garnered four shots on goal each.
Goaltender,
Sam Spangler, backstopped the Bulldogs to the win which improves the team to 5-4 on the season entering MIAA conference play. He finished Saturday with 11 saves.
The Adrian College Men's Lacrosse team will begin MIAA play next Saturday, April 6 on the road at Calvin University. Face off at 1:00 PM.
