ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Midwest Rugby Conference announced its 2023-24 Coach of the Year on Thursday, naming Adrian College's Zachary Mizell as the recipient.

In his first season as head coach, Mizell coached the Bulldogs to a 3-8 record this past season, including a 1-2 conference record. Mizell and the Bulldogs' success this season also led to five athletes being named to Midwest Rugby All-Conference teams, including one First Team recipient and four Second Team recipients.

The Adrian College Men's Rugby team will continue to compete against Davenport, Lindenwood, and McKendree in the Midwest Rugby Conference as members of Division 1A College Rugby and National Collegiate Rugby this coming fall.
